I just got my new phone! A Nokia E51. I’ve been wanting it since October 2007!
As seen in the picture I got the Black body. It has been wonderful so far, but some things are bugging me!

The WIFI is good it detects networks real easily, even some hidden networks.
But, here is where it pisses me off, it keeps dropping the signal. Sure it rescans for new networks fast (or as fast as you set it to) but come on, as least hold the one that I have chosen to connect to!

Example I have a home wireless network set to hidden, as most security people will advise you to do.
I’m standing right next to the wireless router and the phone does not detect it!
I then switch the network to public and the phone detects it…..then it looses it on the refresh!

It is a settings thing? Should I set it to not refresh?

So I bit the bullet, I put my wireless in public mode and the phone stopped dropping the connection. Thus my idea is you can surf on a hidden wireless network of your own, but be prepaired for dropped signals.
