I’ve waited a few days before posting. And a little feed back would be nice.
Let’s lay the foundations.
The person in question has definitely some brain cells, thinking is definitely something they do. Understanding the English language is confirmed.
If someone said something to you that is obviously an insult (if all of the above is to be believed) would you let them off the hook? Or would you bring it up?
This is not a question of being petty, this person then not long later tossed another insult, this time pertaining to my mother.
Maybe it’s is not considered an insult, just being mean.
Example:
Did you let a cockroach eat your hair?
I don’t know what conditions you live in but it never happened to me.
Would you laugh it off, do you find it funny?
Why haven’t I said/done anything yet? Logic dictates human nature needs to be polled and based on the collected results a decision can be made.

“punching in the face is not legal, but imagining your face hitting a brick wall at ten thousand kilometers per second is. Enjoy that thought while I look for my missing medications.”
is what I’d be thinking, but

i say, if the feller in question is the sort that typically says these kinda things for the SAKE of it, but is a friend of sorts, ignore. if person in question is good friend – say something – they should be able to stand up to the test of friendship. if the person in question is acquaintance and no loss to you if they lived or died, then either ignore and remove from friend list or tell off then remove from friend list. either way, remove from friend list. seriously.

A lot would depend on my relationship with this person. I know I make these kind of jibes on my friends all the time, because I give as good as I take. But I don’t suffer fools gladly, especially if we aren’t close.
And I am jealous. No one ever leaves comments for me. Damn you, bear! *monkeyfists*
